Career
Dr Bayer was appointed to the Allianz Africa Board in 2021, when he served as the company’s Regional Chief Financial Officer. He also serves on the Boards of Allianz Nigeria and Jubilee Allianz in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, and he is the President of Allianz Africa SAS (France). Additional to this, he is a legal representative of Allianz SE (Casablanca branch) and Allianz Africa Financial Services (Morocco).
Qualifications
Dr Bayer has a PhD in Physics. Following a period of strategy consulting at Bain & Company Inc. in Munich, Dr Bayer entered the financial services environment in 2011 when he joined Allianz SE.
