Career
In January 2021, Mr Townsend was appointed as a Member of the Board of Management of Allianz SE, overseeing the Group’s Global Insurance Lines, Reinsurance, Anglo Markets, Middle East and Africa. In January 2023, he assumed additional responsibility for the Ibero Latin American region.
Qualifications
A Chartered Insurer, Mr Townsend is a seasoned financial services executive across both the Life and P&C Insurance sectors and has lived and worked across four continents over the past more than three decades.
